Missouri Emergency Medical Services Association |
The Missouri EMS Connection is pleased to accept submissions for the Service Briefs section in the magazine. The purpose of the service briefs section is to share current news about your service.
Submissions should be no more than 300 words in length due to space considerations.
Examples of service briefs include, but are not limited to: community events your service helped with, new equipment or vehicles, new staff members, promotions or changes, new certifications acquired by staff, educational seminars held, etc. We would also love to include photos with your service briefs.
In order to ensure the quality of our publication, editing for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and content may occur. Every effort will be made to ensure that the context of the submission remains the same. The editorial board reserves the right to decline publishing briefs.
Pictures submitted with service briefs are best reproduced at 300 dpi or greater.
To submit Service Briefs and photos to the editor, please submit your news and photos using the online form below before the deadlines.
For the upcoming summer issue of the Missouri EMS Connection, we are requesting photos from your service related to the pandemic. We would like showcase how you are helping your community and how they are showing support for EMS and healthcare workers.
Photos could show: providers checking in on patients even if it is during their off-duty times, grocery deliveries, fundraisers, sharing cleaning supplies, reaching out to neighboring agencies to do a well-being check of sorts, signs of support being put in lawns, or anything else.
Please submit a short description below along with uploading the photos. Thanks.
